ER is a medical drama TV series set in an Emergency Room (ER) in County General Hospital, Chicago. The 15 seasons show has been termed as ‘longest-running primetime medical drama’ in the history of American TV, having won 23 Emmy Awards and a hundred and twenty four Emmy nominations. Fascinating! Isn’t it? Having watched a number of medical TV series, I can admit that this one is an exceptional one in the sense that it has extraordinarily succeeded to incorporate the right concoction of cast where Dr. Greene is one of my best . However, his death in the eighth season affected the entire episode although compelling performances never ceased to surprise me.
